Jack Neace Obituary
Jack Neace, 87, of Godfrey, Ill., born Friday, Feb. 23, 1923, in Grand Tower, Ill., died Monday, March 22, 2010, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. Neace worked as an operating engineer for Ameren U.E. .He was a member of Grace Church and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 148. Jack was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lacy, nee Smith, Neace; sisters, Della Pate, Cleo Brotherton and Mary Johnson; grandson, Patrick McDonald.
Surviving are his wife, Leta F., nee Leonard, Neace; son, Michael Sr. (Cheryl) Neace of Godfrey, Ill.; daughters, Cindi McDonald of Belleville, Ill., and Nancy (David) Juengling of Columbia, Ill.; grandchildren, Michael (Gail) Neace Jr., Shawn (Alison) Neace, Ryan (Nicci) Neace, Todd (Melanie) Vogt, Laci McDonald, Angie (Shawn) Pemberton, Amy (Jeremy) Vacca and Alex Juengling; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Neace, Kaleb Neace, Kelsey Neace, Dylan Neace, Kevin Neace, Audrey Neace, Kyle Neace, Lily Neace, Bennett Pemberton, Baylor Pemberton and J.D. Vacca; nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Christian Missionary Association of Skiatook, Okla.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Jack. I worked with Jack for quite a number of years at several Union Electric Power Plants& rode with him to work for several years. He was a lot of fun to work with & I wish all the best for his Family.
