Douglas A. Neace, age 61 of Eaton, Ohio unexpectedly passed on Wednesday evening, January 14, 2026, at his residence. Born on September 21, 1964, in Xenia, Greene County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Don M. Neace & Carolyn E. (Combs) Neace Rodeffer. He was a 1984 Eaton High Graduate. Member of the Local 392 of the Pipe Fitters Union; Eaton Eagles Lodge # 2202; Son’s of the American Legion Post 215 of Eaton.

He retired as a HVAC worker. He was a skilled mechanic, true handyman, loved riding his Harley Davidson, could be found working in his garage, gardening, socializing, avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his sister: Nina A. Neace in 2010.

Survivors include: former wife: Hattie M. Neace; Two sons: John H. & Stacy Clinard of Maineville, Ohio and Donald A. Neace of Lee's Summit, MO.; Two Daughters: Amber M. & Justin Daggy of Richmond, IN. and Nicole D. & Jordan Truett of Brunswick, GA.; sister: Donna J. & Michael Bush of Vandalia, Ohio; 9 Grandchildren: Jackson, Olivia, Nolan, Henry, Penelope, Cordelia, Lincoln, William and Brooks; one niece: Jennifer N. & Ken Jackson of Huber Heights, Ohio; lifelong friend: Dustin Rue of Eaton, OH and lifelong K9 companion: Grizzly, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Preble Memory Gardens – West Alexandria, Ohio.
