First, my deepest condolences to Joyce and the entire Bevirt family.
Jim was much more than just my cousin. He was like a big brother to me and another brother to my two sisters, Judy and Nancy.
Our family had to move away from Belleville in 1951 when Jim and I were 8- and 9-year-olds. From that time forward, Aunt Laura and Jim would spend summers with us until we all grew older. Those summers were filled with joy and lots of fun. We would swim at the local pool, go on picnics and do some fishing. Jim and I got into our share of "trouble", but that was part of being "brothers". We were all a closely knit unit.
Every Christmas vacation was spent in Belleville with Jim, Laura and the rest of our clan.
Jim and I were each other´s best man at our respective weddings.
One of my regrets is that we were not able to share hunting and the outdoors together. And, also our "gear head" pursuits.
Jim was on the quiet side and had a dry sense of humor. He was unassuming, but strong to his beliefs. He was also of strong character and would help in every way that he could.
You will be missed, Big Brother. May you rest in peace.
Love you,
Gary and Carol Geminn

Joyce and Family,
Please accept my condolences. I meet Jim several times during my 30 years working with Joyce at BAC/SWIC. He was such a kind man. And a 55 year marriage is a real tribute to you and Jim! I know you have many wonderful memories to keep Jim alive in your heart.

So saddened to hear of cousin Jim´s passing. Remembering all the large get togethers with aunts and uncles and cousins when I was young.
