O'Fallon, Illinois - Keith Duane Hancock, 53, born on March 19, 1969, at Scott Air Force Base, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
From the time Keith was a small child, he enjoyed playing and watching a variety of sports. His favorites were golf and baseball. He also played football for the Belleville Little Knights. A few years ago, Keith was inducted into the OTHS Hall of Fame for Golf. He also enjoyed listening to a variety of music and sports broadcasting on both television and radio. He was knowledgeable in a variety of subjects, so everyone always wanted him on their trivia team.
In his early adulthood, Keith had many career endeavors; however, his greatest career was being a stay-at-home-Father to his baby girl. He loved to cook dinner for the family and play games. He enjoyed taking trips and going out. Keith was a very social individual and could hold a conversation with anyone.
Keith was proceeded in death by his mother, Diane Kit Hancock (nee Warma).
Keith is survived by his father, James Hancock of St. Louis, MO; One daughter, Chloe Leanos of Collinsville, IL; One brother, Todd Hancock of O'Fallon, IL; and One Grandson, Ezra Leanos of Collinsville, IL.
A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schildknecht Funeral home; 301 S Lincoln Avenue, O'Fallon, IL 62269.
