Linda Renner
Linda Janelle Renner, nee Wade Wakefield, 57, of Belleville, Ill., born April 1, 1949, in Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at Four Fountains Convalescent Center, Belleville, Ill.
Linda was a bookkeeper for Shiloh Valley Equipment Company and a homemaker. She attended O'Fallon United Church of Christ and was a member of the 50+ Club at the church. She was also a member of the Mascoutah Improvement Association. Linda was an avid power-walker who participated in numerous marathons. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Veronica, nee Matika, Wakefield and Wesley Wakefield.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Thomas H. Renner Jr., whom she married June 19, 1970, in Okawville, Ill.; four children, Janelle (Thomas) Dutkanych of New Athens, Ill., Jody Renner of Belleville, Ill., Jenie Renner of Aviston, Ill.; and Jacob (fianc‚e, Stephanie Beckert) Renner of Lebanon, Ill.; her father, Pat Wade of Benton, Ky.; four grandchildren, Lauren, Aleen, and Jacquelyn Dutkanych, and Jonathan Renner; a stepsister, Nancy Wakefield; and a stepbrother, Kevin Wade.
Linda was a very special person in the lives of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her dearly.
Memorials may be made to The Joseph Schnieders Foundation to Support Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) Research, 16727 Manningtree Lane, Spring, Texas 77379.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2006, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Martha Thierheimer officiating. Burial will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.
