Nola Handley Obituary

POINT PLEASANT — Nola H. Handley, 98, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with the Lord while at Pleasant Valley Nursing & Rehab Center surrounded by her loving family, on April 25, 2016.

She was born Feb. 13, 1918, in Preston County, W.Va., a daughter to the late William Hatfield and Alice Hatfield. She was a homemaker and a member of Bellemead United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Hatfield; husband Carol Alexander Handley; brothers Harry and Ken; and sisters Edith, Mildred, Leana and Thelma.

She is survived by her daughter Carol (Larry) Harris, of Lancaster, Ohio; and two nieces, Patricia (Alford) Liston and Nancy (Cliford) Cunningham.

Funeral services will be noon Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with the Rev. Chip Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon prior to the service.
