Alhambra, Illinois - Physcilla Dean Charlton, 85 years old, was born on December 5, 1935 in Murray, KY, and passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in Alhambra, IL.
Physcilla was a piano instructor for over 40 years, and a member of St. Lukes Methodist Church.
Physcilla was preceded in death by her loving husband William Charlton her parents, Dorris Futrelle and Sarah (Johnson) Futrelle.
Physcilla is survived by her daughter Caryl J. McClaskey her granddaughters; Kelly (Keith) Oliver and Carrie (Bill) Knierim her great-grandchildren; Alyssa Oliver, Cameran Knierim, Cayden Knierim and Madelynn Knierim; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday March 19, 2021, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, IL. A funeral service will be held following the visitation starting at 11:30 am at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon IL, and burial will immediately follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Humane Society of Missouri.

We didn't realize you had passed until our Christmas card was returned. You were such a shining light! We enjoyed seeing you at Kelly's piano lessons and hearing of your growing family for which you were so proud! You always had a smile and were dressed so nice. You made every student feel so special! We will never forget you. May you rest in peace. Much love!
