I am a friend of Beth's from Ole Miss and am so sorry to read about Dr. Laney's passing. I met Dr. & Mrs. Laney one time when they came to visit Beth and he made his outstanding brisket for us! I accidentally found this article when I was doing a search of Beth's name. Beth, if you read this, I'd love to get back in touch. Again, I'm so sorry about your dad.

I am very sorry to hear about Dr. Laney. I was a paitent of his for many years, I have very fond memories of him. I went to Dr. Laney and when I had my daughter she went to him until he retired. He always made you feel comfortable as a little kid. When I was little girl I went to him and I was sick, he said well you are going to have to get a vaccination and I said okay as long as its not a shot, he looked at my mom and she said it is a shot. It was funny. We all were blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor.
