Robin Pfeiffer Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robin Denise Pfeiffer, age 55, of Okawville, who departed this life on Friday, October 3, 2025, at her home. Born on June 18, 1970, in Del Rio, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Richard Lee Pfeiffer and Sharon (Hutchison) Pfeiffer-Swinney.

Robin married Tim Raw in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 12th, 2005. Robin is lovingly remembered by her husband, Tim; her sister, Stephanie Kavanaugh; her daughters, Bryanne Bechtoldt and her husband, Anthony, and Brooke Wright and her husband, Sean; as well as her stepchildren, Adam Raw and his wife, Carissa, and Alex Raw. Her legacy includes her beloved grandchildren: Nolan, Hayden, and Payton Bechtoldt, and Layla Wright, along with her step-grandchildren, Annabelle and Genevieve Raw.

She is also survived by her father, Richard Pfeiffer, and his wife, Kathy; her mother, Sharon Pfeiffer-Swinney; her sister, Stephanie Kavanaugh, and her husband, Scotty Odom; her half-sister, Ricki Pfeiffer-Carr (Todd); and her step-siblings: Mark, Monica, Suzanne (Tom), and David.

Robin was preceded in death by her stepfather, William "Billy" Swinney, and her nephew, Richard Kavanaugh.

A devoted wife, mother, and sister, Robin embodied compassion and support for everyone around her. Her passion for her children and grandchildren was evident in every aspect of her life. Robin was well-known as a strong advocate for human rights, which she proudly displayed on T-shirts and sweatshirts. She loved the law, pursuing paralegal studies at Southwest Illinois College and graduating top of her class in legal studies from Webster University. She had a deep affection for animals, especially her beloved dogs.

The family welcomes friends and relatives to gather for a visitation on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden.

In honor of Robin's memory, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clinton County Humane Society or Planned Parenthood, which can be sent to Nordike Funeral Home, located at 15 East Hanover Street, New Baden, IL 62265.

I knew Robin as a student when I taught law courses at SWIC. She was an èxcellent student and a class leader. I remember her well, although that was almost twenty years ago. My sincere condolences to her family.
