Ronald Stuckel Obituary

Ronald T. "Ron" Stuckel

January 22, 1964 - January 21, 2025

Belleville, Illinois - Ronald T. "Ron" Stuckel, of Belleville, IL, born on January 22, 1964, in Belleville, IL, died unexpectedly, at the age of 60, just one day before his 61st birthday.

Ron grew up in the Belleville area. He had a wonderful childhood because his mom, dad, and sister were always loving and supportive of him. He was a good son to his parents, and a kind brother to his sister. Ron was a graduate of Belleville West High School. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Rolla Missouri S&T. He married Pamela "Pammy" Woods Stuckel. Together they added to their family and raised their 4 children. Ron was blessed to be employed as a civil engineer by an incredible and loyal company, KDG, a division of Shive-Hattery for 29 years, a company that truly cares about their employees and their families.

Ron was a wonderful husband to Pammy, and a fantastic father to their children. He was a good friend to his friends Brent, Tim, Brian, Tim, and Matt, and the sweet souls of the Murphy family.

He was a peaceful soul. He enjoyed time spent with his family, extended family, his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and his friends.

Ron loved spending time playing board games with his family and his friends and was an out of the world cook. He always had fun going on outings with his family. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed studying history.

We love you Ronnie so very much, and although our hearts ache that you are not here with us, we find comfort knowing that because you loved Jesus, we know that you are home with our Lord Jesus, and we will see you someday in Heaven. This isn't goodbye, this is just - - see you later on the other side in Heaven!

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Matthew Stuckel.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela "Pammy" Woods Stuckel; his children, Elijah Stuckel, Rachel Rosemarie (Adam) Stuckel White, Hannah Elizabeth Renee Stuckel, and Noah Michael Stuckel; his mother, Barabara Stuckel, nee Gansmann; his sister, Debra (Michael) Wallace; nieces, Heather Shaw and Holly Stambaugh; great nieces, Caitlyn and Brooklyn Shaw; his mother-in-law, Enedina Woods; his sisters-in-law, Lilia Neal, Carol (Brian) Woods Martz, and Debra (Armando) Santillan; nieces and nephews, Lexi Neal (Sean Uhle), Conner Neal, Adam (Alison) Martz, Erin (Jake) Wetterlin, Nicolas Santillan and Isabela Santillan.
