Sydney Carnahan Obituary

Sydney Carnahan

Sydney Vollmer Carnahan was born on July 31, 1995, in Belleville, Illinois, and passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Sydney was an exceptional pianist, adventurist, and animal lover, attended New City School, MICDS, and Grabber School of Hair Design. She was beloved by family and friends, adored by her three little sisters, and a source of comfort and compassion to her many friends. Sydney will be dearly missed by her large, loving family, including the Carnahan Family, of Missouri, and the Vollmer and Haas Families, of Illinois.

I just found-out about your passing today, and I am so defeated to know you're no longer here. I looked-you-up through FB to add and converse with you, but... I don't know what even happened, but I remember growing-up with you like a sister, and how you were a part of the Steffen-Ferguson family (even looking so much like my similarly-aged aunt, Lorna). I wish you peace, and also that we could've connected before this-it might've been eternally beneficial.

Sharon, Frank, George, Lisa & Family, There are really no words to express my deepest sympathy for your tragic loss. May God hold you close in your time of need, and we will continue to pray for everyone that loved Sydney so much. Remember this: "As long as we love each other and remember the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here. Death ends a life, not a relationship. God bless.
