Thomas Taff Obituary
Thomas "Scott" Taff, 54, of Stanton, Mo., formerly of Granite City, Ill., born Feb. 12, 1956, in Granite City, Ill., died on Saturdday, March 6, 2010, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. Taff moved to Stanton, Mo., in 1998 and was employed as a laborer. He was an avid fisherman.
Scott was preceded in death by a brother, William K. Taff; and grandparents, Stanley Barylske and Gratt and Grace Taff.
Surviving are his parents, Thomas G. and Jo Anne, nee Barylske, Taff of Meppen, Ill.; children, Emily (Erik) Tongay, Margaret Elyn Taff and Joshua Taff, all of Granite City, Ill.; brother, Daniel Taff of High Ridge, Mo.; sister, Kim (Dr. Charles E.) King of Granite City, Ill.; grandchildren, Aiden, Layne and Keely Tongay and Carlotta Taff; grandmother, Margaret Graham; and his fiancee, Molly Spence of Stanton, Mo.
Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City, Ill., and may be accepted at the funeral home.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Davis Funeal Home, 2060 Cleveland Blvd., Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, Ill.

JoAnn and Tom: I don't think I ever met your son but I know that Sara might have. I didn't put 2 and 2 together until I noticed the Meppen address. I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. May he now Rest in Peace and God Bless your families.
