Dear Hoekema Family
I remember fondly my memories of Mr. Hoekema as my teacher at Lynden Christian. He was such a kind and wonderful person. His life was spent praising God. Now may you take comfort in Him and know that Mr. Hoekema is praising God in Heaven.

Dear Hoekema family,
Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. We know Gene is with the Lord. He was a kind and generous man. He was so helpful to us when we moved to Lynden so long ago.
