Frank Albano Obituary

Frank Mario Albano
August 17, 1948 - March 30, 2021
Lynden, Washington - Frank Mario Albano went to sing with the angels in Heaven Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Husband to Nomi, father of Deanna (Tony) Albano, Alissa (Parker) Albano, Jill (Brandon) Lee, Lee (Morgan) Fox, and "Pop Pop" to Brookelynn and Sawyer Fox and Jackson Lee. Frank was an Italian from New York City who moved to Lynden, Washington to grow his family and advance his career. His legacy as an Executive with Alpha Technologies laid the foundation for his connection to the community. Frank was larger than life. He was generous, compassionate, thoughtful, caring, kind, and a friend to all. Frank would give you the shirt off his back or the cannoli off his plate. He treated everyone as if they were an old friend, no matter who they were. Frank loved his family, his friends, his faith, and his community with everything that he had. He was always available with encouraging words, invitations to dinner, a helping hand or welcomed advice. He never turned away anyone in need, and he could always be counted on to show up when he said he would. Frank was a special man who mentored many and touched countless lives. He lived his life to the fullest. To quote him directly, "Live life, don't take yourself so seriously, enjoy every moment and never look back." He was known for his plentiful and delicious Italian cooking, and especially for his crooning voice. He was the life of every party. Frank filled every room with his big heart and bright energy. He was everything to his family and one of the world's greatest. The world was his stage, with a Cuban cigar in one hand and a shot of B&B in the other. Frank lived his life HIS WAY… and has taken his final bow. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE OPEN HOUSE will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021, between 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Rotary Building, 1775 Front Street, Lynden, WA 98264. MASKS REQUIRED. I'm sorry to hear that Frank has passed and I send my love to his daughters and family. Frank and his family were welcomed my dad, Dale Jones as well as myself into his home and I have memories of good food and company with them in Bellingham. I'm grateful for Frank's presence in my father's life and passing.

It's hard to believe that Frank, with his huge heart and personality, is gone. He was always kind to me when I worked with him at Alpha, and when I ran into him last year, after we had both retired, he was just as warm and effusive as ever. He really WAS larger than life. I send my deepest condolences to his friends and family.

Frank Mario Albano was one hell of an Italian who loved to sing, entertain and have friends around him. We had the pleasure of knowing Frank and Nomi for many years through work and have had some good times (Superbowl) at his house and other company sponsored events . He was always a lot of fun and we would never have thought COVID could bring this tough "little" guy down. Born in the same year as me he will be missed. Regret we did not get to reconnect since my retirement. Fond regards to you Nomi and please connect when you have time. Dylan and Christine (Argus Technologies)
