Bellingham, Washington - Lauri A. Anderson was born on November 21, 1965 in West Covina, CA to Daniel and Patricia Payne. She married Scott Alfonso in 1987 and they had two boys, Tim and Nick. She later moved to Lynden, WA and married Michael Anderson in 1997. They owned/operated the Bellis Fair Texaco until 2000. She then became an insurance agent and worked at Beacon/Guide Insurance for 20+ years.
Lauri 's biggest joy was spending time with family, including the many family vacations, camping trips and most recently, living with her grandchildren and watching them grow. Lauri was an avid cat-lover, AVID CAT LOVER! She enjoyed watching the Seahawks. She was a terrific mother, daughter, sister and a wonderful friend to many.
Lauri is preceded by her mother Patricia, her husband Michael and her Uncle Dick.
Survivors include her sons Tim (Jessica) and Nick Alfonso, granddaughters Scarlett and Alayna Alfonso, father Daniel Payne, sisters Karen and Cathy Payne, brother Ryan Calmelat, aunt Ann Moen, her nieces and nephews, large extended family and many friends and coworkers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Whatcom Humane Society.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 7th, at 2pm at the Squalicum Boathouse in Bellingham. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Lauri's life and sharing memories. Casual and Seahawks attire encouraged.
