My Sister My Friend:
When we were growing up, Mary was my BIG SISTER. I thought she was the coolest of the cool, and I looked up to her. I wanted to wear her clothes, play her records....borrow her shoes.
We shared a bedroom for a while, and I remember her being frustrated with me, because my side of the room was usually messy, while Mary's side was always neat and tidy!
I remember her walking us to Sunday School. I remember her babysitting us and making the best peanut butter sandwiches. I remember us playing board games, football in the front yard, and kickball in the street until dark.
She was just BIG SISTER to me back then, ........but through the years, she became my friend. I think I will miss her laughter most of all.
I love you SIS...... Peace be with you always. Your Sister Candy

Dear Red, Kelly, Mike and your families, I was so saddened to hear of Mary's passing. She was always kind to me, and a great friend to Gerri. Lou and I will see you on Saturday. -Kimber Langton

I am so sorry for your loss. Mary was a kind hearted person and always a good friend to my Mom and our entire family. I always enjoyed spending time wirh the Middletons' when I was growing up and loved to listen to Mary laugh and visit. She will always hold a special place in my heart. With much love, Laurie Ann
