Richland Center, WI - Joshua Tyler Carruthers, 38, was summoned by the ancestors on Monday, May 12, 2025 at his home in Richland Center, WI. He was born on December 7, 1986 in Kenosha, WI to Shashina Hipolito (Carruthers). He was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. Joshua was a dedicated employee, working in the shipping department of Cardinal Glass over the past 8 years. Joshua is honored as the first. First son, nephew, grandson and great grandson. Joshua's arrival has always been preceded by his boisterous belly laugh, his huge smile and booming voice. He demonstrated and shared his love through his passion for cooking and grilling for family. Josh was an avid selenophile. He was fascinated by the moon and loved to take pictures of each phase of the moon. Josh had a deep commitment to family. He is survived by his parents, Shashina Hipolito and Juan Hipolito Parrazal; siblings, Daron, Brianna and Tai-Keanu Carruthers; beloved aunt, Sharonda Carruthers (Monte Tolley Jr); uncle, Shawn Fields (Antoinette Bentley); as well as his cherished lifetime partner, Miranda Willig. His passion and focus in life were his children. He repeatedly stated his children made him a better man. His legacy lives on through his four amazing princes; Javonte, Jamaine, Allijah Carruthers and Jaquaile Vankraanen and one little princess, Za'Lyne Carruthers. His presence & guidance will be missed in the lives of his nephews, Datavion "Alex", Damarion and Damian Carruthers; as well as his precious nieces, Zaniyah and Aleni Carruthers. He also leaves behind a host of cousins who grew up with him like younger siblings. He was a cherished son, brother, nephew, father, partner, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be profoundly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Washington Cortez; his great grandparents, Alma and Ezra Peacock; his youngest brother, José (PJ) Carruthers Paramo; as well as his first nephew, Shamarrion J Carruthers. A Funeral Service for Joshua will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Elder David Carruthers officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday in the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
