Alfred Barbagallo Obituary
Selected hymns for the mass which were sung by those in attendance included; “We Walk By Faith,” “On Eagle’s Wings,” “Here I Am Lord,” and, “Amazing Grace.” The Old Testament reading, from the Book of Ecclesiates was read by Mr. Barbagallo’s sister-in-law, Marge Barbagallo, and the second reading, the New Testament, from the Book of Revelations was read by his daughter Mary Therese Barbagallo.
The urn bearer for the service was his son, A.J. Barbagallo.
Interment will take place privately in the family lot in Calvary Cemetery in Rutland.
Alfred Joseph Barbagallo, age 71, a resident of Shaftsbury and formerly of Rutland, died on Friday, April 2, at the Southwestern Medical Center, in Bennington, following a brief illness. Arrangements were under the care of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
