Clint Buck Obituary
Clint loved the guitar so much; he taught himself how to play and became an avid guitar player. He enjoyed karate, deer hunting, and playing basketball and catch with a football. He cherished times spent with his family and friends and was a devoted father, son and brother.
He is survived by his parents Michael and Deborah of Bennington; his son, Chase, and the mother of his child, Sherrie King of Bennington; his brother, Michael Buck, and wife, Rebecca, of North Adams; three sisters, Heather Buck of Lenox, Mass., Sierra Buck, who he was especially close to, of Pownal, and Jennifer Poirier of Bennington; his maternal grandparents, Mary F. and Howard Eaton of Bennington; five aunts, Hilda Saul, Sandra Manno and Barbara Clayborn of Bennington, Betty Ann Baker and Virginia Parks of Pownal; two uncles, Larry Baker of Pownal and Robert Buck of Shaftsbury; two nephews, Dylan Buck and Brendan Sullivan of Lenox, Mass.; his best friend, Travis Finn of Bennington, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Robert J. Buck of Pownal, and his uncle, Joseph J. Buck of Pownal.
Funeral services for Clint will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, 213 West Main St., Bennington. Interment will follow in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chase King Trust Fund at The Bank of Bennington, c/o Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, P.O. I knew Clint all through school and, although we did not run with the same crowds, it is hard not to know people in schools as small as Pownal Elementary/MAU. My heart and prayers go out to the Buck family for their tragic loss.

Heather as you know I have been here for you sence this has happened and will countinue to be here everyday you need a shoulder to cry on .Clint was a dear friend and his loss is so tragic. iam very sorry to hear about clint i only knew clint breifly.i meat clint on work crew he was a great person to know and i wish i had the time to know him better.he was a great guy and i know i will miss seeing him around town.bennington will not be the same with out him.My deepest condolences go out to his family and most of all to his son whom he talked about most.may god rest his soal.we will meet agin.

I went to school with Clint and used to hang out with him way back when, he was an awesome friend and great person to know, always there for everyone.

Looking at the name at the top of this page seems so unreal. I'm supposed to return a message he left me about a week ago. I can't believe that I'll never be able to talk to Clint again. My sympathies to all his family and friends. He was a loyal friend. I'll never forget his smile and laugh.
