He was an avid weather watcher and enjoyed tracking storms and alerting his family of upcoming weather events. He had served in the Vermont Army National Guard at the Bennington Unit and was a former member and past President of the Arlington Fish and Game Club. He leaves his wife, Helen (Bolster) Tudor of Manchester Center, whom he married Sept. 24, 1983, in Arlington; sons, Val and wife Jody Antonio of San Antonio, Texas, Frank Antonio of Manchester and Anthony and wife Karen Antonio of Bennington; daughters, Donna Babcock of Rutland, Sue and husband Jeff Main of Pownal and Toni Driscoll and husband William of Katy, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. I had the pleasure of working with Herbie at r.k.Miles for six years. It was great to hear him share stories about all the folks he knew and the happenings from Sandgate and the area. He had known my Grandparents when they worked at Stanley Tools and we had even both been members of the Bennington National Guard unit (at different times of course). He was always quick with a witty comment which made it fun to be at work even when the weather was not fit for man or beast to be out in it. He will be sorely missed.
