Marion Cipperly Obituary
Marion was born on April 7, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Henry and Magdalena (Stolz) Siemens. She graduated from Hoosick Falls High School in 1947, and was a member of the National Honor Society. Marion was employed at the former Noble & Wood Company and Dr. Harry Harrison Dentist Office both in Hoosick Falls. In her retirement years she helped out on the family farm, Boilingbrook Farm. She was a member of All Saints Church in Hoosick where she served as Treasurer for many years, Hoosick Grange, Tri-County Holstein Club and the Walter A. Wood High School Reunion Committee. Marion never met a stranger as she loved to visit and talk to people. She enjoyed traveling and going to the Schaghticoke Fair and watching the cow shows. Family and friends were very important to her and she never missed a game, reunion concert or life event.
Survivors include her sisters Linda (Harold) McClellan and Wilma Gutermuth all of Hoosick Falls, NY, grandchildren Keith (Teresa) Cipperly, Rachel (Steven) MacNeil, great grandchildren Caroline and Aaron Cipperly, Amber and Connor MacNeil, daughter in law Joyce Cipperly, special nephews Scott (Penny) Acree, Jeff (Barbara) Acree as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marion was predeceased by her parents, husband and son Paul H. Cipperly.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 21, at 2:00 pm from St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will follow the service at Hoosick Rural Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, on Wednesday, October 20, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to either All Saint's Episcopal Church or the Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation through the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at CNR for the wonderful care provided to Marion.

Marion was a very special lady. I have many wonderful memories of chats we shared over the years. She was always interested in hearing about my family and of course wanted to share the latest news about hers. She was so proud of you all. God bless you as you mourn her loss.
