Paul Hyde Obituary
In addition to his wife of 33 years Ann Hyde, he is survived by his three sons Edward Hyde (Julie), Kevin Hyde (Patti), Paul Hyde, Jr., (Shelby), two daughters, Therese Taft (Michael), and Karen Gatus (John). He is also survived by his three stepchildren Lisa Mantini (Michael), Michael Desjardins, Steven Desjardins, and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He had a kind heart and was always there for his friends and family. Throughout his 80 years, he touched many lives and will be sorely missed. He was also an avid Carolina Panthers fan (even this year) and never missed watching a game. Visitation will be held at Reavis Funeral Home, 318 Davie Avenue, Statesville NC from 12 - 2 p.m. on October 26, 2023, a memorial service will follow.

To my sister Ann,
It's so difficult to find the right words how sorry I am for your loss.
I'm thinking of you and sending love and comfort during this difficult time.
Memories of someone as special as your husband Paul will live on.
Paul loved and cherished my sister and I'm so grateful for all the wonderful years you had together.
In April with the passing of daughter as sick as Paul was you both were there for me. That meant everything to me.
I will always remember our episode to eat burgers at the 110 Grill (you know what I mean)
when you Paul and I took a ride to Newburyport, MA and came upon a great parade.
The time you lived in Burskirk, NY and you came down to Haverhill, MA to bring me back to your house for the weekend. Then you brought me back home to Haverhill, MA and you had to drive all the way back to your house.
We can go back to your wedding which was a great time.
That is way you both are so special to me always giving and being there for me
