My condolences to Peters family. He was always up for a good conversation. A very knowledgeable and ambitious man. I'm sure he's already off on some sort of mission. It was a pleasure to have known him.

To the Barton Family, I extend my sincere condolences. Peter was the consummate professional private investigator. I always enjoyed reaching out to him for wisdom and advice. His support of the profession was outstanding.
On a personal level, I always enjoyed his friendly smile, calm voice and pleasant demeanor. Peter will be missed as both a colleague and as a friend. While Peter is gone from this life, he will not be forgotten.

I'll miss seeing him at the Cup & Saucer & visiting. He always asked after my family & talked about the good ole days. I knew he was a good, kind man, but had no idea how many years he devoted in service to our community. Thank you, Mr. Barton, for all of your service & may you rest in peace.

Healing thoughts and prayers of sympathy go out to Connie and the family. Peter was so special to so many of us in town. We go back to the good ole days at Vermont National Bank, as well as neighbors for so many years. He will be remembered for his smile and the love of his family of which he was so proud. I will miss meeting him on the road and I cherish his last phone call after this Memorial Day. God Bless you Peter and be at peace.
