Kenny Unger Obituary

Kenny Unger, 84, of Milaca, died peacefully Dec. 13, 2024, at the Milaca Elim Meadows Health Center.
After graduating high school, Kenny enlisted in the Air Force. He served his country from 1958-62, his rank was Airman Third Class.

Kenny loved farming and took great pride in his farm. He also loved playing cards and visiting with all of the company that stopped in.

Kenny is survived by his son, Eric Keath (Kris) of Fairbault; step daughters, Donna Olson of Milaca, Linda Bockovich (Dale) of Grand Marais, Susan Palmer (Russell) of Ogilvie and Faye Glein of Oak Park; siblings, Beverly Nystrom of California, Darlene Lindstrom of Rochester, Sandy McILoy (Jim) of Ogilvie, Lawrence Unger of Arizona, Robert Unger (Bonnie) of Mora and Loretta Dale of Alaska, two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Kenny was proceeded in death by his wife of almost 50 years, Judy Unger; his parents, Gilbert and Mary Unger; siblings, RuthAnn, Mary, Debbie, Barbara and Douglas; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, step son-in-law, Mike Olson, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca. The Rev. Kate Mensing will be officiating.
