Larry Suggs Obituary

Larry Glenn Suggs, 75, of Lonoke, formerly of Benton, passed away Sunday, June 7. He was born July 30, 1944, in Saline County, to the late James and Anna Cody Suggs.  Glenn was retired from Alcoa after 37 years and enjoyed raising miniature horses in Lonoke. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Dena Lee Suggs; a brother, Doyle Suggs; and four sisters, Irene Bowman, Exie Grissom, Lottie White and Maxine McGee.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Suggs, of Lonoke; a son, Michael (Leslie) Suggs, of Benton; a stepson, Scott (Staci) Smith, of Lonoke; a daughter, Angela (Johnny) Bell, of Benton; two brothers, Horace and Loyd Suggs, both of Benton; nine grandchildren, Olivia Motes, Jagger Suggs, London Suggs and Brynn Suggs, Ryan Carpenter, Jackson Smith, Josh Smith, Anna Ivy and Jake Lewis; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Landers, Jeff Gwatney, Anna Ivy, Ryan Carpenter, Jackson Smith, Josh Smith and Bill Suggs.
Graveside service by Ashby Funeral Home will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, at Smith-Rosemont Cemetary, with Bill Suggs officiating. 
There will be an open visitation from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the funeral home.
