Lyndell Suggs, age 86, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Born in Baxter County, Arkansas of April 26, 1939, he was the son of Arlie Suggs and Helsie Crownover Suggs (Virgil) Patrick.
Lyndell is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Rae Suggs.
He was very passionate about motorcycles, especially his beloved Harley collection over the years. Lyndell was a jack of all trades and enjoyed traveling and camping; trips to Gatlinburg, camping at Cowan Lake State Park and winters in Florida were among his favorites.
In addition to his wife, Lyndell is survived by daughters: Lori (Nick) Brown of Florida and Kimberly (Scott) Dermont of Arizona. Left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Brooke, Brody, Amy, Andrew, Michael, Taryn, Kyle, Brandon and Evan, along with several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Lyndell was preceded in death by son, Randy Burson, and sister, Eileen Taylor.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
