Anne Markarian Obituary
WILLIAMSTOWN -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Anne Marie (O'Leary) Markarian, 91, of 1080 Simonds Road was celebrated Monday, March 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Mark Burke, S.J., pastor of Saints Patrick & Raphael Parish officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Mr. Frank Ryan, deacon of the parish.
The acolyte was Ovila St. Pierre Jr. The pall was unfolded by the pallbearers and the crucifix was placed on the pall by Mark Markarian, husband. The ministers of the word were Keith Bona, grandnephew, and Debbie Durant, grandniece. The offertory giftbearers were were Anne Bona and Kimberly Puricelli, grandnieces, and Margaret Bush, niece.
Burial followed in Eastlawn Cemetery. The pallbearers were John Scarbo, Daniel Scarbo and Keith Bush, nephews, and Richard Puricelli, Matthew Puricelli and David Durant Jr., grandnephews.
Mrs. Markarian died March 21. The Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 W. Main St. North Adams, was in charge of arrangements.
