Beverly Rudge Obituary

Mrs. Beverly Anne Rudge, 94, of Lenox, MA, died peacefully on December 24, 2024 at the home of her daughter, Laura Anne Rudge Wolfe. Beverly Anne Cook was the daughter of Ralph Mills Cook and Laura Adell Breitkreutz. She attended St. Agnes School in Albany and earned a B.A. in French and Spanish at Russell Sage. Bev worked as a receptionist at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL) where she met her future husband, William J. Rudge III. They married in 1958 and settled in Clinton, NY where they raised four children. In 1979, Mrs. Rudge and her husband traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe. Bev and Bill maintained a home for many years on Laurel Lake in Lenox . Bill predeceased her in 2020. Surviving are her four children, William (Patti) Rudge IV, Laura (Dan) Wolfe, David (Robert Hallaway) Rudge, Susan (Jim) Corney, and six grandchildren: Caleb and Sarah Rudge, Stephanie (David) and Eric Wolfe, and Philip and Mindy (Tyler) Corney Dowdle. The virtual celebration of life will be held in Lenox, Massachusetts at a later date.
