Dan the man, rest in peace old brother. It's funny how everyone talks about laughing with Dan.Oh the good times in Dan's apartment shooting blowguns at the dart target. I remember photographing Dans wedding outdoors on a sunny day. I remember lots of darts at La cocina and lots of great conversations late into the evening, and Dan was always the gracious host and friend. I wish I had as many friends as Dan. See ya buddy, Michael Sell, Amherst, MA

To Dan's family:
Annie and I were very saddened to hear of Dan's death. We shared alot of good times together over the years, music, gatherings in Middlefield, at the Farm house in Pittsfield, working with the kids at High Point and BLC...Live Wire and darts at La Cocina... and most recently at an art show with Gail at 55 North Street when we had an opportunity to reconnect if even only briefly. We were glad to know Dan, laugh with him, occasionally debate with him, and today the world is worse off with his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I feel lucky that I knew Dan, that we had the chance to be fellow travelers. In addition to how important he was to me, he was important to our children. We all called him UncleDanFunny. He was brilliant and funny and one of the most genuine people on the planet.
All my love to Ariel, Gail, Steve, June, family and other friends. I know we'll keep him in our hearts.
