Delia Blanche Andrews

NORTH ADAMS, MA Delia Blanche (Lewis) Andrews, 75, died on Monday March 14, 2016 at North Adams Commons. She was born in Adams, MA. on January 9, 1941 a daughter of Charles Henry Jr. & Blanche (Dubie) Lewis. She attended schools in Adams and was employed at Hunter Machine Company and later employed at the former Adams Nursing Home on Franklin Street and was a Home Health Aide for several families. Delia was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and later St. Elizabeth Church. She loved her dogs and cats She married Leo Joseph Andrews on May 10, 1958 in North Adams. He died on April 13, 2001. She is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Thomas and her husband Robert of North Adams and Robin Haskins of Adams and son, Richard A. Andrews and his wife Barbara of North Adams. Delia also leaves 9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Roma Andrews of Florida and Mildred Gould of Chicopee, MA. Delia was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Lewis and sisters, Norma Lecuyer, Shirley Gazaille and Constance Gentile. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Delia Andrews will be celebrated on Friday March 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home Central Chapel 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA . Condolences to all of Delia's family. I was blessed to have known her and happy that I had the opurtunity to visit with her last year with my Mom. I remember her wedding day and all the fond memories of family gatherings.
