Dennis Marks Obituary
1948 - 2014 READSBORO, VT Dennis Charles Marks, 66, of 478 Shippee Rd. Readsboro, Vt., died Monday, May 19, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Montclair, N.J. on Jan. 20, 1948, son of Henry J. and Eileen Haight Marks. He attended schools in Denville, N.J. and graduated from the Morris Hills High School with the class of 1967. Dennis was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Navy. He was last employed by WMW Machinery Co. in West Nyack, N.Y. He was the commander of the Walter L. Case Post #29 American Legion of Readsboro, VT. Dennis enjoyed hunting, golfing, and trips to casinos. He especially enjoyed travel in his RV. Survivors include his wife, the former, Carol Yorkston whom he married on Jan. 25, 1969; a daughter, Nicole Marks and her husband, Rossi Giuggio, of North Granby, Conn.; a son, Dennis C. Marks Jr. of Readsboro; two grandchildren, Maxx and Joey; two brothers, Robert A. Marks of Spring Hill, Fla. and Peter Marks of Shirley, Mass.; a sister, Mary Ann Marks of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Henry Marks Jr. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial gathering for Dennis Marks will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Readsboro American Legion.
