Dougles Cadorette Obituary
1942-2013 PITTSFIELD Douglas Bernard Cadorette, 71, of 316 North Street, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility. Born in Pittsfield on May 31, 1942, the son of Bernard A. Cadorette and Mignonne F. Tremblay Cadorette Gawron, he was educated in Lenox and Pittsfield schools. A Viet Nam War veteran, Mr. Cadorette enlisted with the United States Air Force in May 1968 and was honorably discharged in July 1968. Mr. Cadorette had been employed as a front end clerk at Stop & Shop in Pittsfield. He was involved with Ad-Lib. He enjoyed spending time with friends and going out to dinner with his family. Mr. Cadorette is survived by brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Douglas B. Cadorette will be held in the Spring at St. Ann Church in Lenox with burial to follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.

Heaven shines brighter because another angel has crossed through the gates. Doug, I know in my heart God called you home during this joyous season so that you, my dear cousin, can celebrate Christmas in Heaven surrounded by loved ones. No more struggles, no more pain, you are in the arms of the Lord, Rest in peace Dougie, we will always cherish the fun times we shared when you lived in Florida, the many phone conversations we shared over the years. Your heart was filled with kindness and the love of family! You will be missed by many, but you will never be forgotten. Thank you for the happy memories. Love you. Paula, Ralph and family <3
