Elizabeth Wait Obituary

Elizabeth Wait 1919 - 2008 BURNT HILLS, N.Y. Elizabeth A. Wait, 89, died suddenly at her home Friday, Nov. 14. Born March 3, 1919, to Edgar and Margaret Weast Hammond. She lived in her home in Burnt Hills all her life. She had worked for the Burnt Hills Post Office for many years until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of The Rebecca Lodge, and the Schenectady Women's Bowling Association. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband David A. wait. She leaves her son David T. Wait of Burnt Hills, two grandchildren, David T. Wait of Schenectady, and Karen J. Wait of Pittsfield, Mass., also a great-grandchild Lindsey A. wait. FUNERAL NOTICE: Friends may visit with the family 12 to 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, at the TOWNLEY & WHEELER FUNERAL HOME, 21 Midline Road, Rt. 146A, Ballston Lake. Committal service in Hillside Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ballston Lake Emergency Squad, Route 146A, Ballston Lake, N.Y. 12019. Arrangements by Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, Ballston Lake.
