Dear Heidi, Dick and family, We are sorry to learn of Jan's passing. We have fond memories of Jan during all of our tenure at Crosby Jr. and Taconic High schools. His humor helped us both endure some remarkably boring subject matter! Those lighthearted moments are with us still. May he R.I.P.

I was Jan´s neighbor on Loumar Dr and his classmate at Taconic and Crosby. I´m so very sorry for your family´s loss especially to Dr Smith for having to bury his son. I know that pain myself having lost our beloved Marc Massery at age 30. Jan was truly a brilliant young man with a love for his classmates and ski friends that all will remember.
Most Respectfully and with my deepest sympathy,
Jimmy Massery
