Jerome Summit Obituary

Jerome Summit BECKET Jerome Summit of Stamford, Conn., and Becket, formerly of Middlebury, Conn., died in his home, asleep, on Oct. 26, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.Survived by his wife of 48 years, Caroline Mintz Summit; daughter, Jodi Summit and Marshall Helmberger of Tower, Minn.; son, Jeffrey and Susan Summit of Jefferson, Mass.; daughter, Marjorie and Mark Anzalone of New Albany, Ohio; his brothers, Martin and Mollye Summit of Boynton Beach, Fla., Robert and Elsie Summit of Palm City, Fla., and grandchildren, Maxwell Helmberger, Ariana and Zoe Summit, Emily, Ryan, Andrew and Phoebe Anzalone. Jerry graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked as a construction engineer throughout the Waterbury, Conn., and Westchester, N.Y., regions. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be today, Tuesday, October 28, at 11 a.m. at Temple Sinai, 458 Lakeside Drive, Stamford, Conn. Burial will immediately follow at Farband Cemetery, East Street, Morris, Conn. Shiva services will be held at the home of Caroline Summit. Contributions may be made to the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund at either Temple Sinai, 458 Lakeside Drive, Stamford CT, or Temple Anshe Amunim, 26 Broad St., Pittsfield.
