Paul Warren Obituary

Paul Warren, 78, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at his home.

Paul was born on September 25, 1946, the son of Kenneth and Ruth Warren. He grew up on Pontoosuc Lake in Lanesboro, MA.

He was a hardworking man who made his way from custodian at General Electric to eventually owning and operating his own business, Warren Professional Controls Corporation, until his retirement. Growing up Paul spent much of his time on the lake swimming, fishing, and waterskiing. He was also a drummer in a band, an avid hunter and later in life, enjoyed golfing.

He was a big fan of the Boston Bruins and NASCAR. He once had the privilege of a VIP ride around The Pocono Raceway. He was lucky enough to have a true friend in his brother in law, Pokey Sykes. They spent countless summer days by Pokey's pool over the years, and had many memorable adventures with their wives and children together.

As a child Paul spent summers vacationing in York Beach, Maine. This became a tradition with his own family that continues today. His favorite part of his vacation was spending time with his grandchildren, hunting for shells and jumping the waves. He was the grandfather who showed up at the hospital after the birth of his grandchildren with a wagon full of toys.

Paul was predeceased by his loving wife, Ilene L. Simon Warren, whom he married on August 26, 1967. He is survived by his children, Paul Warren, Jr., and wife, Suzanne, of Dalton, Pamela Codey and husband, Patrick of Pittsfield, and Kristi Vale-Cruz and husband, Dustin, of Pittsfield. He was the proud grandfather of Chloe Warren, Keira Codey, Ty Warren, Jenna Codey, Avery Vale-Cruz, and Violet Vale-Cruz.
