Premier DeJesus Obituary

Premier Ashton DeJesus, age 23, of Pittsfield died suddenly on Wednesday December 3, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital following a long-fought battle with addiction.

Premier was born October 28, 2002 in Conway, South Carolina. He moved as an infant to Pittsfield, Massachusetts where he lived for much of his life. Most recently, Premier worked overnights at BJ's Wholesale. In his younger years, he loved helping on the family farm by maintaining equipment, driving tractors, taking care of the animals, and learning an immeasurable number of life skills.

P was a young man who never stopped moving. There was never a dull moment with him and his family will always remember his funny wit and his great smile. Premier will most certainly leave a mark that outlived the struggle.

Premier loved music, riding dirt bikes, and playing video games- especially when those activities involved his younger brothers. P was incredibly polite, always respectful and loved his friends and family fiercely.

He was a very private person and many may not realize that he fought every day with the demon that is addiction. He never let it stop him from finding joy and purpose in the chaos. P refused to center his life around suffering or his struggles and he embraced each new day as a new adventure.

Premier is survived by his parents, Sarah DeJesus (Chris Marianetti) and Samuel DeJesus, both of Pittsfield, Kendall Anderson of Virginia, and his siblings, Kingston, Atticus, Alberto and Cristal DeJesus. He also leaves his maternal grandfather, Billy Turner of Pittsfield, maternal grandmother Lisa Turner (Tedd White) of Dalton, his paternal grandmother Lydia Anderson of Virginia, his aunts and uncles, Jason Turner of Cheshire, Jessica DeJesus (Orlando Wilson) of New York, Crystal Anderson (Kiesh Herman and son Jack) of New York and Kelli Anderson of Virginia, and many cousins.

Premier was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Paul Anderson.

All are invited to join P's family on Saturday, December 13, 2025 for a celebration of his life at Ye Olde Forge Restaurant in Lanesboro from 1-3:30PM. All in attendance are encouraged to dress in your favorite hoodie and sweatpants and are asked to bring an appetite as well as your favorite Premier stories.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Premier's memory may be made payable to "Learn to Cope" by visiting their website at Learn2Cope.org or mailed to the Dery Funeral Home at 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201
