Ray Combs Obituary

Ray A. Combs

Ray Allen Combs, 79, a native of Norwood, Ohio, and a resident of Lauderdale County, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, at his residence. Ray was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He served during the Korean and Vietnam wars where he was highly decorated and received the Purple Heart. He was also a member of the Second Division Indian Head Association.

Visitation will be today from 3:30-4 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be David Combs.

Ray was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth, grandson, Skylar, and parents, Lee and Cleora Gobel Combs.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Combs; sons, David Combs and wife, Donna, and Mark Combs; stepsons, Ricky Beadle and Steven Beadle and wife, April; daughters, Lisa Boutwell and Karen Combs; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
