Victoria Jean "Vicki" (Huckabee) Phelps
COLERAIN - Victoria Jean Huckabee Phelps, age 68, passed away on June 7, 2025, in Colerain, North Carolina. Vicki was born on November 3, 1956, in Grand Haven, Michigan.
Vicki spent her entire career in management. She loved to cook, was an avid fan of baseball and NASCAR, and enjoyed her flowers, especially her rose bushes. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father, George Huckabee; her beloved daughter, Patricia "Tricia" Thomas; and her grandson, Steven Cale. She is survived by her devoted husband, W. Keith Phelps; her sons, Tony Huckabee (Alessia), Tommy Huckabee and fiancée Jo Ellen, and Robbie Phelps (Wendy), her mother, Patricia Ann Eley Lohmeyer(Bill); 11 grandchildren, Miranda Paige Phelps and fiancée Josh Spence, Isaac Cale, Jr.(Donette), Brandon Cale, Reanna, Devin, and Wayland Huckabee, Josh Thomas, Katlynn, and Austin Phelps, Caleb, and Blake Huckabee; 3 great-grandchildren, Shia, Ryker, and Elliott, siblings, Jodie Mikesell(Bernie), Jenny Logan(Mark), Wayne Huckabee(Traci), and Chip Pippell(Jennifer), along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Vicki's life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service in Ahoskie, North Carolina, with Rev. Al Hughson officiating. The family welcomes friends to join them an hour prior, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at the funeral home to share their condolences and fond memories.
