Daniel Ruby Obituary
MECOSTA -- Daniel G. Ruby III, 82, of Mecosta, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, in Three Rivers.
He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 4, 1937, to Daniel and Elsie (Robinson) Ruby II. Dan married Madonna Rogoski on Aug. 26, 1983, in St. Johns. They resided in DeWitt until 1999, when they made their home at Tubbs Lake.
Dan retired from General Motors and was a former school bus driver at Chippewa Hills High School.
Dan is survived by his wife of 35 years, Madonna; three sons, James (Ruth), of Oregon, Shane (Claudia), of Florida, and Larry (Valerie), of Michigan; four step-children, Stephen (JoEllen) Karas, Cindy (Bob) Deeleuw, Monica (Kerry) Martin and Jacqueline (Kevin) Heniser; one sister, Terri Radcliff; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and beloved friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Toni Schmit.
A mass of resurrection will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus with Fr. Tom Boufford as celebrant.

Time passes like sand through an hour Glass. The grains passed way to quickly. Oh we had so many good times, we always said Grace at the dinner table and still do today. You told me that God is always there even though we couldn't see God. You taught me so many things along life's highway. You told the doctor to send me home when I was premature and you'd teach me how to eat. Oh there is so much to say, but so little room. Dad, I love you and always will. Some great day I plan to see you when I get to the other side. Dad take care, love you and bye for now.
