Marvin "Marv" Jay Myers, 74, passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 1, 1951, in Alma, MI, Marv was known for his quick wit, endless jokes, and love of hunting, fishing, and crafts. Above all, he treasured time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Ada Myers; stepmother, Alice Myers; siblings Marsha, Jeffery, Carl, Roger, and Melvin; and his son, Joshua Myers.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Roberta (Robin); his children, Luke (Lisa) and Kitrena; siblings, Lisa (Mark) McDonald, Pamela Grey, Diana Woodbury, Becky (Steve) Barrow, Jeana Green, Willie (Sherry) Eaton, Roberta (Stuart) Voss, and Tammy Unger; grandchildren, Nichole Jenks, Kendra (Zach) Kafka, and Kaden Hoogerhyde; great-grandsons, Luke and Beau Kafka; and many other loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 3 p.m. at VFW Post 2964 in Reed City, MI.
