Victor Rushing

Victor Rushing, 70, of Big Spring, passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015 in a Lubbock hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
Victor was a long time resident of Snyder and had lived in Big Spring for the past 11 years.
He was proud of his early working days with Don Love Construction in Houston. He retired with 20 years at the prison in Snyder.
Victor is survived by wife, Francisca Beatriz Rushing of Big Spring; one daughter, Elizabeth Sannes and husband, Paul of Denver, Colo.; one son, Nathan Rushing and wife, Natalie of Ruidoso, N.M.; one step-son, Mark Gomez and wife, D'Carlon; two step-daughters, Julia Gomez-Puga and husband, Louie, and Karla Gomez all of Big Spring; five grandchildren, Mai Gomez, Kelsea Moore, Kloe Mata, Kylee Mata and Kameron Mata; and two brothers, Kenneth Johnson of Snyder and Billy Rushing of Plainview. Victor also had many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him very much. Victor was a caring, loving man that loved life and his family and he will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Rushing; two sisters, Deretha Rushing and Linda Rushing and two brothers, Harold Rushing and Ricky Johnson.
