Mark Radwanski Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce that Mark Radwanski passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2024, in Big Timber, MT.

Mark was born on April 1st, 1954, in Rockaway, NJ to Eugene and Clare. Mark was the 4th of 8 children, he grew up in Rockaway, where he graduated Morris Hills High School in 1972.

Mark's career was in the transportation and moving industry. Throughout his career Mark lived in New Jersey, Colorado where he raised his four children, Wyoming and finally Montana. As well as being an owner operator, he worked for several moving and transportation agencies where he worked in several capacities. Mark retired from this industry in 2023.

Mark loved all sports, he always rooted for the underdog. Mark loved and followed all the Colorado Teams and had a love hate relationship with the Denver Broncos.

Mark had a fierce passion for fishing that extended to a fishing pole collection of over 30 rods which he stored in more than one location around Big Timber. In addition, Mark had an impressive collection of beautiful flies and lures, however he always had a cup of nightcrawlers in tow just in case.

Mark is survived by his wife Cathy of Big Timber, MT, his four children: Joseph (Beth) of St. Louis, MO, Jennifer of St. Charles, MO, Jimmy of Midland, TX and Jackie of St. Charles, MO. Also, two stepchildren Jessica (Ben) of Belgrade, MT and Christopher (Ruby) of Livingston, MT. In addition, Mark had 8 grandchildren: Amelia, Oliver, Natalie (Joe) Andrew, Jacob, (Jennifer) Kylee (Jimmy) and Allyson, Samantha (Jessica).

Sisters: Carol (Charlie), Barbara (Henry), Mary (Jimmy), Sue (Tom) and brothers: Gary (Pattie) and Paul and multiple nieces and nephews. Mark is preceded in death by his parents and brother Peter (Krista).

Mark loved the Lord, his family, sports, fishing, music, and ice cream, and life itself, praising each new day! There are no words to describe how deeply Mark will be missed, but we celebrate a life full of love, joy, memories, singing, dancing, and no regrets.

Cremation has taken place, and services will be held 10am Tuesday August 13, 2024 at the First Congregational Church in Big Timber.

Mark loved and supported this ministry, so in memory of Mark donations can be made to: The Gateway of Hope,
