Thank you Andrew, Janet and Savannah for graciously sharing your tipis, your meals and your humorous friendship with Larisa and I during the 2006 Crow Fair. Our first stay in Crow Agency will always be memorable because Andrew's smiling face and quick wit greeted us every morning. We will miss Andrew terribly and as a tribute to his generous hospitality and kindness, our family pledges $100 to the 2007 Crow Fair in honor of Andrew Old Elk, our dear friend.

To the Old Elk Family, so sorry for the loss of Andrew, he was a good man. His relentless teasing will be missed. When I worked for the tribe, he always gave me encouragement and laughter and he was never afraid to voice his opinion. He's probably already teasing someone somewhere else.
