BOZEMAN ? Christopher Scott Warner, 33, surrounded by loved ones, quietly passed away Sunday evening, Sept. 5, 2004, due to complications caused by a motor vehicle accident on the Bozeman Pass, April 15, 2002.
Chris was born June 9, 1971, in Clearwater, Fla., the son of Carden and Yvonne (Harmon) Warner. In 1977, Chris and his family moved to Lolo. Chris graduated from Big Sky High School in Missoula in 1989. He attended Montana State University, graduating in 1993 with a degree in Graphic Design. He met Linda McGowan in 1992; the couple was united in marriage on Aug. 20, 1995 in Bozeman.
Chris and Linda made their home in Bozeman, and raised two beautiful children, Morgan and Jacoby.
Chris loved being outdoors; he enjoyed hiking, skiing, skating, biking and spending as much time as he could with his family. Trivia, Jimmy Buffett, hockey and traveling will always be linked to Chris. Chris was a talented artist, known for his beautiful and intricate pen and ink drawings. He worked as an outside sales representative and graphic designer at the Mini Nickel since 1997. Before that he worked at Kinko's.
Chris will be remembered as a generous and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. We will remember his humor, energy and love for life. He will be missed by all.
Chris is survived by his wife Linda; daughter, Morgan; son, Jacoby all of Bozeman; his parents, Carden and Yvonne Warner, of Victor; two sisters, Linda (Jim) Green of Denver and Darlene (Dennis) Richards, of Lolo; brother, Carden (Jill) Warner, of Washington, D.C.; mother and father-in-law, Gary and Mary Jo McGowan, of Lavina; sisters-in-law, Glenna (Sean) Patten of Bozeman and Ivy (Shane) Nicholson of Fort Polk, La.; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Dahl Funeral Chapel. A vigil service will be held following the visitation at 7 p.m. at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at Dahl Funeral Chapel at 10:45 a.m. for procession to the cemetery.
