LODGE GRASS - Donald Ray "Lucky" Dreamer, 76, of Lodge Grass went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ and beloved wife, July 22, 2014, in the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital.
Baaushtashille ii saah ke' uu xe hiilinn Dakuuk "Wonders among old whitemans sheep" a name given to him by his grandfather Bear Ground was born Oct. 13, 1937, in Crow Agency, a son of Daniel "Casey" Dreamer and Edith Long Ears Bird In Ground. He graduated from Hardin High school in 1957, where he excelled in basketball. He later attended the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kan., attaining certificates in press operation and heavy equipment operation.
Donald was a member of the Whistling Water Clan, was a child of the Whistling Water and was a member of the Operating Engineers local # 400. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and enjoyed fellow-shipping with other believers.
Donald married Etheline Greybull on Sept. 7, 1969, in Las Vegas and the couple made their home in Lodge Grass.
His parents, grandparents Mortimer and Rose Bush Dreamer, wife, sister Beldean Beneker, brothers Mortimer Dreamer, Menford Bird In Ground-Wyman, Ronnie Anderson, John and Richard Fitzpatrick, daughter Marilyn Hill, son George Not Afraid Sr. and grandchildren Timothy Hill Sr., Richard and Dustin Coando preceded Donald in death.
Survivors include his daughters Kelly, Donna (Joe) and Danielle Dreamer, Joni (Al) Big Hair, Marilyn Benson, Mary Mullenberg, Barbara (Darrell) Bright Wings, Debbie (Harold) Backbone, Janice (Henry) Speelman Sr. and Joy Buckly; his sons Daniel and Michael Dreamer, James and Hershel Hill Sr.; his sisters Carmaleta Bird In Ground, Agnes (Edward) Lockheart and Deanna Dreamer; his brothers Larry Beneker, Wilford (Lorna), Gilbert (Kathy), Thurlow (Zena), Quinton (Joen) Bird In Ground and Scott James; his adopted sons Lansing Dreamer, Manuel (Linda) Covers Up, Elroy (Kitty) Nomee and Oliver (Tori) Half; his adopted daughters Ardith (Clifford) Birdinground, Latona (Sharone) Old Elk, Thersa (Robin) Valley and Danetta (Ernest) Holds the Enemy; his adopted brothers Travis (Valerie) and Burdette "BJ" Bird In Ground, Mike (Minnie) and Sidney (LaVonne) Fitzpatrick; adopted sisters Linda Anderson and Marley Birdinground; 37 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; grandchildren whom he raised Waylon Hill, Cody (Wade) Not Afraid-Gardner, Herschel Hill Jr.; adopted great-grandchildren Micahlyn "Paris" Amyotte and MyLeah Gardner; as well as his extended family including the Bird In Ground, Anderson, Fitzpatrick, Bear Cloud, Whiteman, DeCrane, Turns Plenty, Sioux, Seminole, Limpy, One Bear and Bright Wings families.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the Crow Agency Spirit of Life Foursquare Church. Interment will follow in the Lodge Grass Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
