Jan,
Our sincerest sympathy to you and your family. I know how much good Fred did while he was with us all, he will be dearly missed. You are in our thoughts and our prayers. It is good to know that you are with so much family.
Please let us know when you are in Denver again.

Jan: I am so sorry to know that Schoonie has passed. I will forever look fondly on my days working with you both at St. Luke's. It was working with him and the cath lab crew that inspired me to go into nursing after keeping his books for seven years. What a great man and friend he was to us all. Remember those wonderful days spent at his cabin in Grand Lake--what great days those were. I have never forgotten Fred and just thinking about him now makes me smile. Hope you are well. Would love to hear from you. Love, Cathy

We are deeply saddened that we will not hear your voice or see your easy smile again. But we are eternally grateful for the time we have together because of you "Scoonie".
Our sincerest sympathy to you Jan, to Fred's entire family and to all those who have lost a truly wonderful friend.

I worked with Dr. Schoonmaker for several years in his practice in Denver. He always treated me with respect and consideration even though I was then only in his billing office.

I had the pleasure of working for Dr. Schoonie when the offices were still at the old St. Luke's in Denver. He always had a smile, a joke, and a cheerful word for everyone. I'm terribly saddened at his passing and we will keep him in our prayers.
