Our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord and Savior on April 10, 2024. Mom was born on Dec. 14, 1932, in Laurel, MT. Mom grew up on the Kamp family farm located between Laurel and Billings and graduated in 1950 from Laurel High School. During high school, she worked at the Laurel Royal Theater where she met "her Charlie". They married on September 1st, 1951, in San Diego, CA when Charlie was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mom and Dad enjoyed fishing, camping, sporting events and family functions. They enjoyed cruises and traveling. Mom especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her spouse Charlie Minch; parents Leo and Vernie Kamp; and sisters Leona Rood and Wilma Tipton.
Survivors include sister Sharon Brockway, brother Leo (Corinne) Kamp; three children, Larry (Kathy) Minch, Lynn (Chuck) DeMeyer, and LuJuan (Ron) Rolison; grandchildren Chad (Jessi) Rolison, Camby (Joe) Kaltsas, Heidi Rolison (Jeremy and Makenlee Metcalf), Sara (Sam) DiMichele, Amanda DeMeyer, Melisa (Jacob) DeMeyer-Garcia, and Becca (Ryan) DeMeyer-Noack, Nora (Jordan Fread) and Simon Minch; great-grandchildren Dylan Johnson, Claire and Parker Kaltsas, Vincent and Vivian DiMichele, Olivia DeMeyer-Garcia, and Logan Rolison.
A Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Laurel at 10 a.m. A visitation will be held at Smith Laurel Chapel from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at Yellowstone National Cemetery with a reception to follow back at the church.

This picture of Jane is just as I remember her...always with a smile. The Kamp family was special to our family in my growing up years and I grieve with you at this loss. May God comfort you all.
