Janet Davis Jones passed away on Sept. 5, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer at RiverStone Hospice.
She was born on June 20, 1936, in Cody, Wyo., to Warren and Mildred Perry. Janet married Robert Davis in 1953 and had three children. In 1995 she married Bill Jones Sr.
Janet was a real estate agent/broker in early 1970s, then became a real estate appraiser owning her own appraisal firm and served on the Montana State Ethics Board for real estate appraisers until retirement in 2001. Her community involvement also included serving on the MetraPark Board and as a member of Billings Saddle Club.
Janet was an talented artist and produced amazing family portraits, animals and landscapes paintings. She also enjoyed spending her winters in Yuma, Ariz.
Janet is survived by her brother Warren (Jan) Perry; her three children, Debbie (Mark) Sullivan, Marty (Vickie) Davis and Christine (Jeffrey) Potts; step-children Bill Jones Jr., Sherri (Len) Knutson, Pam Petrini. There are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous extended family including her life partner Laddie Bina.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Smith Downtown Chapel. Interment of the urn will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be shared with the family at smithfuneralchapels.com.
