Jeannette Anderson Obituary

Jeannette Anderson

February 18, 1926 - December 21, 2024

Jeannette Elvera Anderson passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024 at the Billings Clinic at the age of 98. She was the loving mother of Virginia Waples, Jerry Anderson and Donald Anderson; grandmother of Ian Waples, Carl Anderson and Alan Anderson; and great-grandmother of Sven and Fleur Anderson.

Jeannette was born to Martin and Jennie Wirtanen in 1926 in West Barnstable, Massachusetts. She was the younger sister of Virginia and Martin Wirtanen.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; brother, Martin E. Wirtanen; sister, Helen Virginia Wirtanen; and by her parents, Martin and Jennie Wirtanen.

Jeannette's wish was that she be cremated and have a memorial service at the site of husband, Gerald's grave at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. The date of that service will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Gideons International or to the charity of your choice. For more information, go to michelottisawyers.com.
